alinbeaverton > When all else fails, I can wander over to my neighbors yard and shoot roses. I went for a walk with my WIDE lens and this was the only keeper. I really like the effect you get with a really wide lens, the secret is to get close. This was shot at the minimum focus distance which is about 6 inches from the front of the lens, and I still cropped :)
alinbeaverton > 8/4/09 I liked the light on this stream so I stopped to grab some shots. I'm not real happy with the WB but this is the best I could do to fix it.

I was freezing coming up the coast and 4 hours later I was dripping with sweat, that is Oregon for you. I loved the colors of the fields so I stopped and grabbed this shot. alinbeaverton > 7/26/09 After a very long day in the saddle, just about 400 miles of very twisty Northern CA roads in 90 plus degrees. It was nice to hit the coast and cooler temps. I knew I drug that tripod over 1400 miles for a reason :)
